JSU VS BCU

Jackson State University and Bethune Cookman University took over TIAA Stadium and Jacksonville, FL this Saturday! The tailgates were teaming and the city was buzzing about the game. The NPHC held a tailgate at Memorial park with food, music, laughter and family fun. Everyone was excited about the battle of the bands. Until the news began spreading that JSU's band was unable to attend. The news shifted the energy and excitement of the game, but it still proved to be a great time. The game begun at 4PM. The cheerleaders were showing us just why Cheer is a sport. Their uniforms were very stylish. They were strong, solid and sporting that BGM! Coach Prime Time lived up to everyone's expectation. JSU was strong on the field. Consistently scoring each quarter totaling 48 points. Bethune stuck in the game and fought to the end. Although they didn’t win, BSU pushed thru scoring 8 points in the last quarter. Now let's talk about the Band rocking the stadium throughout the game. The Half Time show was superb. "1 band 1 sound". You can tell who the game attendees came for, the change in the crowd size shrunk a bit after the halftime show. Nonetheless the game was excellent. The Budzone was full. The city was thriving with new melanin faces supporting their teams.
